Notorious ‘Runaway’ Robot Shakes Russian President, Vladmir Putin During Meeting (Photos)

Image
An infamous intelligent robot that escaped from his lab twice has shaken hands with Vladimir Putin. The Russian president was touring an IT exhibition in Perm, which is becoming known as the country’s Silicon Valley, when he met Promobot. The big-eyed, Russian-made machine is said to have immediately recognised Putin and enthusiastically introduced himself with a handshake. Promobot is used as a guide, model and promotional salesman across Russia and keeps a database of prominent public figures. However, the android has hit the headlines in the last year for his escape attempts. Last year the rogue robot was arrested at a political rally when he was supporting Russian Parliament candidate Valery Kalachev in Moscow. Authorities attempted to handcuff Promobot and take him away. iPhone X (10): Meet The First iPhone With An OLED Display + No Home B.utton (Photos)

With the iPhone 6, 6s, and 7, Apple has done something they have not done before, which is to retain the same design for three years in a row. The company has in the past typically switched up the design every two generations, but we guess the Cupertino company must have been “saving” the design refresh for today with the iPhone X (pronounced iPhone “ten”). The iPhone X represents a huge shift for Apple in terms of design and also in terms of features, where it is bringing to the table many new features that Apple users have been asking for in the past few years, which includes wireless charging, an OLED display, and also a build that’s more friendly for one-handed use. According to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, “It is the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone.”
Starting with the design of the iPhone X, it will feature the same glass front and back similar to that of the iPhone 8, a surgical stainless steel band running around the frame of the handset, along with water and dust resis…

Apple iPhone X Malfunctions At launch

Image
Apple Inc has rolled out its much-anticipated iPhone X, but it came with a hiccup on Tuesday. The glass and stainless steel device with an edge-to-edge display that Chief Executive Tim Cook called “the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone,” created an embarrassing moment for the company when one of the features, the face ID, refused to work. This happened when Apple Senior Vice President Craig Federighi, tried to unlock the phone with his face, during the on-stage presentation. But the hitch was only temporary as the device unlocked on the second attempt. The launch contained few surprises, with leaked details on the phone and other products including an updated Apple Watch proving largely accurate. The iPhone X’s $999 price still raised eyebrows, and its Nov. 3 ship date prompted questions about possible supply constraints ahead of the holiday season. Investors and fans have viewed the 10th-anniversary iPhone launch as an opportunity for Apple to refresh a smartphone lineu…
